I truly admire those who put themselves on the line by writing yaoi/slash fanfics. I myself have a particularly difficult time risking that sort of criticism.

"Because I'm a novelist. It's romantic." - Simple lines but there's a complicated struggle of self-discovery behind it. Understanding the connection between "novelist" and "romantic" is not that easy, and I love Eiri's blunt declaration that he's a romantic and he writes novels. It's not our typical image of him.

I love the imagery! Shuichi as a 'hot little bud of fire' is SO what a romance author would say. XP Comparing Shu to cigarettes is kinda harsh, but maybe that's just Yuki's strange sentimentality. Please write more soon.
