I loved this story too!! The sequel was just as amazing!! And, once again, I would start reading the next installment, but I am going shopping early tomorrow morning. So, alas, this must wait.
But that end part was wicked cute. I just like, "Aw" all through it. Touched, really.

Aww this is such an emotional story. I almost cried when I was reading and it takes a lot for me to cry. You should write a Mello's POV for it. That would be so awesome.

This felt so realistic. How a person would feel and behaveif they realised they were in love with their best friend. I absolutely loved Matt and his POV and behaviour.

Trying to take care of Mello, his "whatever" attidude for the rankings. I loved the discussion L had with Matt. Very intresting.

Also I really liked it that Kiras name was not once mentioned so I can continue in my happy La La Land and think it wasn't Light and one day in the future L can hook up with him throuch working on a case together. :)

It also felt very right how Mello had not figured it out that he was actually too in love with Matt and was oblivious about his own and Matt's feelings for such a long time.

once again, totally true to life. i miss those feelings... *sigh* i relate to Mello so much in this chapter; seems like it's the way you write him, i regularly can empathize with him.

Mello's realization makes me squee inside. ~<3
