That closing line was completely brill! What a great idea, Snape being a bat! I've got to tell you, the greatest part was Harry's realization that Snape actually bit him. XD The newspapers evened the score, I suppose, but it's just too funny. ^o-

Oh, I loved this story! You portrayed Harry's emotions very accurately, and I think you were wise to end it when you did. A few times I had tears in my eyes -- when Snape fell back on his own childhood memories; the whipping scene; the end chapter. Thank you so much for writing this. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a very well written story. I enjoy some of the more original descriptions you use. The pacing of the story makes it so easy to read and enjoy. Your choice of words provokes real emotion. I will definitely be moving on to the sequel and my only wish was that the next story was finished so I wouldn't have to wait for updates. But with a story as good as this I don't really mind. Bravo

I realize its not the intent, but while keeping Potter in the office - when he is so obviously in need of medical care - might be emotionally satisfying it makes he dislike Dumbledore all the more.
