I normally don't cheer for Snape but in this fic I do.

Jesus Christ, I usually read Harry Potter for fantasy escapism, but this fic is hitting too close to so many irl child abuse cases in the news right now. If I could, I will cook every Vernon Dursley out there and feed them to the animals.

Well, if this happens instead of canon, and Dudley keep on like this, at least he'll die Forever Alone, like millions of boys who have been raised like Little Emperors by their parents who taught them to disdain their disadvantaged peers. Hurts Animals is even worse than Rude to the Waiter.

Or maybe I had a crap childhood, but not so much that I didn't have enough left in me to realise that if the houses is real, Hufflepuff would have what I'll need, friends to make a family with, Nakama.

Children stealing things is either a sign of parenting, poor impulse control due to their young age...or, child abuse and neglect, because they don't have their own thing.

Everytime I look at Harry Potter's homelife closely, or how children's well being is treated in his universe, I have an immense urge to face-punch every so-call responsible adult who failed hard at not sucking.

This is so good! It's really powerful and emotional in a kind of unusual way, what with snape being stuck as a bat and all!
I read it in one sitting, then was sad because it had finished, and seemed a bit abrupt... then noticed in the description that there's a continuation... YAY!
