I enjoyed reading that chapter. It showed Renee as a strong agent I felt, which I like to see as I think sometimes she is portrayed as too weak. I thought it finished the story of beautifully, that is if it's the end of the story.
One thing I thought might be nice a little different would be, "But I didn't. I went back to the FBI. I did what he would have done if it where the other way around. I went back to my job,..." That is my thoughts though you will probably strongly disagree.

By the way I love the actually last line just brings it to a close. Well Done!

I'm a HUGE Jack/Renee fan and I always find your stories impressing. Thanks so much for not being one of those authors that puts innapropriate material in their fics. I love reading fics that I, a teenager, can read with my mom looking over my shoulder!

I happen to really like Renee/Jack stories and just their relationship in general. There aren't so many of these stories out there, and I really like this one. I like the way you've shown things from Renee's perspective.
