Interesting little snippet of what could happen. It could even been the guilt eating at him that caused this. Either way, very interesting. :)

Not cheerful, but very good. Well-written. Interesting. I'm not a huge Heroes fan, but I hate unresolved issues. Such as whatever happened to Caitlin. I could definitely see this as an ending scene (stretched out into 10-15min of course) in a Heroes episode. & I agree- not enough Caitlin fics out there.

That is just evil ending it like that lol.

Peter/Caitlin were about the only good thing from that awful season of Heroes, really Hiro needs to find her. Be great to have her back on Heroes.

Woo-hoo! Another recent Heroes convert, huh? I watched all of season one and two (hooray for TV on DVD) in under two weeks, and then, thanks to the miracle that is hulu, I watched all of season three that I'd missed up to that point.

And that's a different take on whatever happened to Caitlyn. We never really knew, except that she got stuck in the future... and was never heard from/mentioned again, except for one brief reference in the finale of season two.

I agree with you- there should be more Caitlyn fics. She's a fabulous character (actually, kind of a little mini-me of... ME!), and she was the only love interest Peter ever had that I didn't either totally hate or think was totally wrong for him. So massive applause for you! More Peter/Caitlyn in future from you, I hope!

Ooh, very dark. I used to love Heroes... it was so awesome in the beginning! Then season two got weird... but I stayed with it through season three until a few weeks ago. But who knows, I might start watching again. Then again, I'm obsessed with Chuck right now so there may be no going back :D

O_o Wow. That was intense! I could SO see that happening in canon...minus Peter actually dying, lol. Sheesh! I totally heard both their voices in my head during this conversation, and was hcore believing it all until the Pretend!Haitian, and then I didn't WANT to believe she'd actually kill him, I was really hoping he'd fix it by the end somehow. But seriously, that works so well, and resolves her plotline in my head (again, minus the Peter-being-dead part; I dunno, she just turned away in disgust and disappeared? lol). So now I will imagine this version of her as a result of his abandonment, and whew, that is angsty. Lol. You don't write too much angst, eh? Sure worked! Great job.
