I really like seeing Jack the rock star, because it counters Jack the orphan so much. He has these two completely different lives that he leads and it's really nice to see both in opposition to each other.

"not that Jack didn’t have his own share of admirers; girls loved a **-up for some unfathomable reason." I really liked that line. It's just so true when it comes to Jack lol

Also loved the part about his hair. LOL what is Jack without his hair?

Such a great beginning to what I know will be another awesome story from you. I love how you write Jack and they way he feels when he plays music. I like the idea that it's the most important thing in the world to him, that it steadies him and that he sees it as his ticket out of Detroit. I also like that, while there's an OFC and potential romantic relationship, I know that won't be the only thing you focus on (but you DO write great romances, lol). So ... where's the next chatper :D
