This story is facinating please continue it because some stories come after it if I understand the timeline correctly and how Peter and the gang handles this would be interesting to find out. I also love the EC saga.

Mostly because I want to POKE you into writing more! We misses your fic, precious. Yes, yes, you are being busy going off to graduate school and being all smarty-pants-like, but fic is *highly* important.

I'm going to have to make you another movie trailer to inspire you, aren't I? Must poke at little sister then, to get my good movie program back, and then we shall let the bunnies stew and brew into something fantasmical. We are having much more source material to be working with these days too, precious. Yes, yes, we do.

Right... channeling Gollum a bit too much... methinks it's time to let you get back to Being Smartlike and for me to run away home.

Well, I'm not a member of this site, so I can't vote on your poll, so I guess I'll vote here. I'd love to see more of "To Question Why", "Sticks and Stones", "Be Well Tried", and "Year of the Scorpion". In the first three you've got a really wonderful dynamic going between so many different worlds, and all of them blend beautifully. As for "Year of the Scorpion", I'm just a devoted Mummy fan.

oh finish! finish! why have you not written anymore for the ECverse it was your stories that got me into HP/Narnia crossoovers in the first place .I love these stories

Hello! I've just gone and read all of your EC universe stories, and I loved them! The Dark is Rising is one of my favourite series, and as I'd just reread them, I had been looking for some satisfactory follow-ups in its fanfiction section...I saw your story, and your author's note to go with it, thought "eh, why not read some series, it's not like you've got finals or anything!" (I have, but oh well!) Point is, your stories blew me away! the Harry Potter mixed with Chronicles of Narnia idea created this amazing atmosphere within your story, and I gobbled up everything you wrote as fast as I could! (two days) Now, I'm sitting here wishing for more! :( Please keep writing, you have an amazing talent!

I almost wish I hadn't read this until you have three or four more chapters ready. You are carrying on your EC-verse splendidly, and I can't wait to see where you go with this branch of the story.

I rather like Eileen. She's doing a conscientious job and is following through on solid research. She just happens to be out of her (or practically wizard's) depth in dealing with Pevensie.

You've drawn up a very pretty web and put Peter into an apparently tight corner. Your economy of words allows quick reading, but still gives full and specific detail to what you describe. Well done! Again! Still!

Wow! It's such a nice surprise to see you've updated (and both this and Sticks and Stones). This is such an intense chapter, especially since it's pretty much just people talking (and not even revealing that much) because you can just tell how both Peter and Aileen are probing at each other (and both are very good).

I really like Aileen especially, since it was so tricky that she'd be able to use Peter's knowledge of the wizarding world against him. (He relied on the silencing spell, forgetting the technology of his own world, when he was so cautious before). Though, I do wonder how they'll use this. I can't see what Peter revealed that would be so odd, other than a knowledge of Dumbledore (which shouldn't be that hard to show, since they have a letter about him from Dumbledore) and a knowledge of the wizarding world. But they certainly didn't get any proof of any sort of offense.

But I can't wait to see what you have planned.

Well, I see time has tempered your skill into a finer hone than previously noted. Such are the ways of swords and words. We but wield them and they cut--with fine skill or blunt force. I need to check to see if I still have my brain intact. That's how masterful this is.

oh hell... aileen's being played, i'm guessing by dumbledore. somehow, she needs to be apprised of what's really going on here. brilliant intro, looking forward to more.

So glad to have you back and I am so angry with Aileen now I do hope that Peter can find a way to deal with her and the muggle accusations without too much damage befalls him!
