My friend roadrunner_ger directed me to this story. It wasn't what I expected, but that's not a bad thing. I expected it to be about Jack thinking about his own past as the team gets to know Vala, since they are so much alike. Loved the ending. Caught me totally by surprise. Wondering if he will ever be tempted to travel through the looking glass to visit Rose.

I know the story at least this particular one is finished, but.. you don't suppose that maybe just maybe you could do a sequel? Cuz I'm wondering if that Rose Torchwood stumbled across is the right Rose and not an alternate Rose. and does she step through the mirror?? if she does then do Davros and the Daleks still try to take over all of reality??

! Rose! That's brilliant! A great little story with Vala and Jack (never a boring pairing) and then a lead in to the return of Rose Tyler. This could be a brilliant start to a series, at the very least it would benefit from a sequel.
