Anyway, terrific story! It's obvious that you've done quite a bit of research, and you've done a spectacular job of tying it in to a coherent, well-thought out plotline. Well done! I absolutely love how you handle Jim, and especially Blair. Characterization was spot on, and I'm ALWAYS thrilled to see cop-Blair portrayed in the way you've managed: capable, content, and downright ornery! ;)

As for your OC, bravo! Sam's a beautifully written character, and she doesn't detract a bit from the interaction between Jim and Blair. I really enjoyed reading this, and now on to the sequel. Thanks for writing!

this was absolutely fantastic, very descriptive, can't believe you never sailed, the indian history and artifacts was very accuarate as was the geography.

Good story. Interesting take on Blair's family. I think Sam might have deserved a got whack upside the head for her actions but seeing the shape she was in... I really enjoyed this and am looking forward to more from you.
