Original idea. I think it's cool just for that alone. Makes it cooler that it's well-written. I'm an Arthur-fancier, too, so that makes this fic thrice cool. Cool.

A very well done story, and very touching. Although most of us prefer happy endings, sometimes sad stories really need to be told. This must have been very difficult for Arthur, knowing how sympathetic he is toward Muggles. You made this a memorable piece.

I had intended it be one in a series of brief HP character studies, and I am working on one involving Lucius Malfoy to follow it. Are there going to be more chapters? Because I would be interseted in seeing where you are headed with this. As it stands I like it. Very sad though.
