I don't really remember much of The World Ends With You, but did they ever really mention much of Neku's past. I mean we learn about Shiki and Eri, Beat and Rhyme, and that Josh is the composer, but we don't ever get much of Neku. We only get what he's feeling from the game. It makes you wonder what kind of family Neku grew up with.
