Excellent story. My favorite Space Sheriff relationship. Even though we never get an official word on it unlike Gavan/Mimi, at least there's still hope for them since they are still together as of Space Sheriff spirits unlike Sharivan/Lily.

Minor nitpick though. In the Japanese version Annie never thinks of Shaider as "Dai". Since she's not from Earth and never knew him until he became a SS he'll always be Shaider to her. This was the same for all 3 Sheriff's and their partners (all of whom were alien and never knew them on Earth). This was in the Japanese version and I don't know if it carried over to the dubs for other countries (which is what you seemed to have watched) so you might not know this.

But other than that a solid story.
