Absolutely stunning.

I read this chapter a while back, and realized I'd never reviewed.

This cracked me up: “Your turn to be a shinin' star, Sammy.”

LOVED the boys' talk at the end, and how Sam refused to hate Dean, and that he pointed out he might've done the same and his shot probably would've hit Dean's heart. He did a nice job of keeping Dean from wallowing in guilt.

Aw, I'm so glad you continued this. I really wanted to know what happened too. Tell me, did you already know what happened to Sam, or did you make this up just for the second part of the story? And I sure do wish something like this would happen in the show. ;D

Yay...a happy ending. That's all I wanted. Lol. This was a great story or set of stories. I really loved seeing all the brotherly angst and then comfort. Great Joh.

Lol, very cute, and a really nice way to round up the story. Well done.

I also liked how you put the flashbacks in. took me a bit to get used to - at first i was thinking you'd accidentally deleted some of the text - but once i picked up that the next line down followed on without a break i liked it. I was a good way to show memories being triggered by something and the messy manner flashbacks seem to have.

Trying to be a good citizen and go back to all stories I read in work and didn't review. Thought this ( and Forget& forgive) was (were) brilliant. Hurt Sam, angst and hope - what more could I wish for. Thought it was very well written and didn't go over the top with a wonderful ending. Thank you

I loved both of these stories. I hated the way the episode ended, and I liked the believable and touching way you reconnected the boys. Plus, I'm always up for H/C fic with Sam as the injured/sick one and Dean doing the comforting. Thanks for posting!

Wow. They so need these two stories. They're so disjointed now, and anything coming at them will take them down. They need these stories, or something like them. We need the guys back, not two angry strangers sharing hunts and pretending to be brothers. These were great, Neb. Thanks.

Okay, Sam turning Bobby's words back on him was just so cool! And Dean being the one who shot Sam, I was totally not expecting that. It explained so much though, why Dean didn't want him to remember, the arguing, the disappearing part. Answered a lot of questions, and made so much sense. Excellent sequel!
