Aha what I really mean is, is that this one-shot can very much belong to the manga as a special chapter you know? I really really like this especially at the fact that Naruto and Hinata decided to take it slow (which ended with kissing her hand!! Sque!! :3) and because of how Sakura reacted seeing them. You portrayed her feelings very much of how she would actually react in the manga if this ever happens (well, at least in my opinion ;D)
Which leaves me more to thinking you are actually Kishimoto in disguise... Hmm? HM? O_O

I loved the talk between Naruto and Hinata and how you portrayed them. I'm a bit disappointed with the original manga, abandoning this plot completely like nothing happened.

You know, I've heard people say that NaruSaku became a lot more plausible at the end of Part I, but that's simply not true. You're incorrect when you dismiss Naruto's feelings for her as a mere crush, but what was revealed at the end of Part I was that Naruto loves Sakura enough that he wants her to be happy, even if she's not with him.

Rather than showing that a romantic relationship was likely, it showed just the opposite. Naruto gave up on Sakura ever seeing him as anything more than a comrade (and I say that affectionately because people tend to consider comrades-in-arms more like siblings than friends). This becomes important because it demonstrates that he is not hung up on Sakura during Shippuden, but he still wants to bring Sasuke back for her sake.
