I thought about what you said about not writing the whump out in vivid detail for this story. After reading it, I can see how it wouldn't be necessary to see who, what , when, where ,and how the bad guys worked John over. Personally, I would have liked to see more of the physical recovery. I'm a sucker for John in the infirmary stuff.

Yet you showed his emotional and mental angst in all of its weirdness, especially that closet thing, that really made me aware of his problems. I'm going to keep an eye out for more stories like this in the future.

GREAT! I am so glad you concentrated on the recovery process because that is what is often missing in stories with John whump and you did a most spectacular job on it. It was a compelling read and so well thought out from start to finish.

Very well written story with a lot of potential to take this in other directions. I would have loved another chapter that went into the John's meeting with the IOA and his continued recovery with his team and any change in the team dynamics.

This has been a very good story. I am a Christian and have missed some of the Biblical truths (that I believe very strongly) here at . I don't know what your faith is, but you have given strenght to the things the Bible teaches about trouble and healing. God doesn't keep us from trouble, He just helps us through it. And we should be helping our fellow men/women to work through whatever tough times we are in at any given time. Our society wants to protect it's citizens from hurt and harm. But, surving hurt or harm, is what helps us to mature physically, emotionally and spiritually. You have written a story that proves it. Please don't stop writing. I will continue to read.
