That was a really well written story. There were a few minor spelling mistakes, but they weren't distracting. You also did a good job with the characterizations. I like the strength that Hitomi showed in her old age, and I am glad that she is with Van again. The ending was especially good, and I don't think that Hitomi and Van will ever forget each other.
