Reviews for The Dog Who Came to Dinner
animationiscool 4/22/11 . chapter 9
This was a great Story, and I enjoyed it a lot. I especially liked the ending when F3 was allowed to stay with Max and 99.
02AngelBaby75 4/5/11 . chapter 9
99 was worried if Max got too near beakable objects...XD I just got hot chocolate and my spit all over the screen..Isn't it weird how the seemingly NORMAL things set me off?

And the TICKLE SERUM? That is pure evil, really! I can honestly say I would rather have anything done to me than that. I am one of the most ticklish people you are ever gonna meet :)

A lovely ending! Good ol' F3 gets to stay with 99 and Max. Life can't get any better...:)

animationiscool 4/4/11 . chapter 5
My favourite parts of this chapter were when Seigfried and Shtarker were talking about "gurgle, bubble, svish", and Max's "would you believe?" statements.
LADYMALLARD 3/30/11 . chapter 9
Wow, thank goodness the Control agents found the President before he was subjected to that Diabolical Tickle Torture. Thanks to F3, 99 and Max, the world is safe once again, from Kaos and F3 now has a perminant home with the Smarts. All's well that ends well! Great Story, I enjoyed it alot, a terrific read from begining to end, just like watching the show.
LADYMALLARD 3/30/11 . chapter 8
Things are getting "Very Interesting!", with the Kaos agents taking over the White House, as well as throwing a costume party to benifit Kaos, (Max's explaniation to a civilian about what the meaning of Kaos, was just too funny) Max, 99 and F3 being sent in to sort things out. F3 seems to have a nose for solving the mystery of where the real presidential cabinet were stashed. But, It's up to the Chief, to sort out the real and fake legislators though. I thought Max's remark about the lie detector being used to find out which were the Kaos impersonators and which were the real polititions was too funny. The Batman and Robin reference was funny too. I loved the encounter with Agent 13 in the fireplace his remark about being stuck in the chimney sounded to me like the riddle about, What can go up the chimney down, but can't go down the chimney up? The answer in this case is a control Agent, but, there is another answer to the riddle. On to the next chapter...
LADYMALLARD 3/30/11 . chapter 7
Another very funny scene with the Agents in the Chief's office. I could totaly see the bit with the smoke signals getting out of hand and Larrabee rushing into the office with an extinguisher in hand. I loved your ideas and Max's building jealousy toward F3, is just too funny. Great job with this chapter, on to the next to see how this latest crisis is handled...
animationiscool 3/30/11 . chapter 4
The part when Max mistakes gemology for geography and germology was hilarious.
animationiscool 3/30/11 . chapter 3
This chapter was really funny. I have always liked Agent 13.
LADYMALLARD 3/29/11 . chapter 5
Wow that was quick, with the Control agents discovering the underground, contacting the Chief by shoe phone, (I loved the way F3 suceeded in contacting Control) finding the smugglers, being captured, (A funny exchange between the baddy and Max, classic Get Smart) meeting up with Seigfried and Shtarker and F3 being able to give the Control Agents the upper hand, by untying them before the Kaos Agents knew what was happening and the Chief and a bunch of agents arriving to take all the Kaos agents into custody. All the witty banter between the agents was so much in character, I could just invision it all taking place. At the end it was really funny, with the talk of toys and catnip as a reward...for F3 that is...great chapter, on to the next one to see what will happen next.
LADYMALLARD 3/29/11 . chapter 4
As if the circomstances weren't odd enough, a French curator/founder of the Art and History Museum, who, it seems, can't tell a cat from a dog. The introductions and Max's confusion were so funny. Missing gems, the discovery of bones with gem stones hidden in them and to top it off a hidden staircase all add up to quite a mystery. Who is stealing gems? Are the gems that were left fakes? Why would someone hide the gems in some old bones? And is the hidden staircase the way the gems are being smuggled out? A lot of questions...will the next chapter answer them? On to the next chapter to find out.
LADYMALLARD 3/29/11 . chapter 3
This story just keeps getting funnyer and more entertaining. And the meeting with Agent 13, just the discription of what he's wearing is enough of a chuckle, but when he gets so gushy with F3 and gets on Max's nerves that's when I started to really enjoy the humor of what was happening. Being in a mail box as a hiding spot was funny enough, but when someone posted a letter and never noticed Agent 13, that was too funny. Than when Agent 13 started to read the super secret message and Max got really annoyed, 13's explanation was simply deliscous, "Sorry about that, Max I just noticed that it was stamped Top Secret on the envelope when I was finished reading it the first time." So in character for them both. I'm really enjoying this story with all it's truely funny elements, what will happen next? On to the next chapter to find out...
LADYMALLARD 3/29/11 . chapter 2
Another great chapter with all the humor and fun of the series. Max is his typical klutzy self, as F3 observes and he is pretty confused about F3 thinking at first she is a dog rather than a cat. It's pretty clever of Carlson to have invented a translation device for 99 and Max, to be able to understand F3. I often wonder what my kitty is thinking, it would make living with him abit simpler I suppose, then again...anyway great second chapter. What awaits Max, 99 and F3 as the adventure begins...onto the next one to find out.
LADYMALLARD 3/29/11 . chapter 1
This was a terrific start to what will, I am sure, be a great story. It has the usual funny dialog and pratfalls and interactions, which made the show from the 60's, so fun to watch. The characters are spot on and make the chapter easy to enjoy and invision all the action. Great job...onto the next chapter to see what will happen next.
animationiscool 3/25/11 . chapter 2
I remember agent F3 from another one of your great stories, "Feline Sundaes". It was interesting to read this introduction chapter of the character. I am sorry if I thought that their partner was going to be a dog. I assumed it from the title, and I also assumed that they already knew F3 because I read "Feline Sundaes" first. Max mistaking F3 for a Chihuahua was funny.
animationiscool 3/25/11 . chapter 1
This was a funny start to the story, especially the scene involving the damaged Cone of Silence. I'm looking forward to reading when Max and 99 will meet their dog partner.
