TrisakAminawn 2009-04-22 . chapter 1Hyehheheh. That's about what I would have thought if someone said rubber chicken dinner to me, especially if I'd never heard of one before. Stringy beef, instead. Heh. Huzzah Snape being distinctly not-a-bastard to Lupin. Just what I randomly wanted to read this evening, but I had to sift through a lot of slash to find it. The chronology of '/last/ night was the full moon' was not at all clear until near the end, however, and it set up some dissonances. Ah, I hate it when Remus has to go off and feel sorry for himself as a safety precaution. Poor dear. |
excessivelyperky 2009-04-11 . chapter 1Isn't it amazing how the person who has been given the least care is always expected to hand it out, and then yelled at by others for not doing it according to their own standards. At least Poppy is aware that Snape deserves something for all his trouble. |

Healer Pomfrey 2009-03-27 . chapter 1I absolutely adore your ability of expressing yourself! Thank you for writing such a fantastic story for my challenge! Sorry it took me so long to read and review. |
Wintermist 2009-03-26 . chapter 1Great Story! I honestly wish we could have seen this kind of almost-friendly interaction between Snape and Lupin in canon.
Oh! and the last rubber chicken moment just made my day XD
Thanks for sharing this. |
Georgia Weasley 2009-03-26 . chapter 1Ah, you were in your element here! Severus and Minerva together again. I adore the way you write those two together. I would love to list all the fantastic lines that either brought a chuckle or a tear, but I'm afraid I wouldn't have room. One part that did just make my heart ache was the strawberry ice cream. Sev's reaction to the memory Remus had of childhood illnesses, and remembering his own lack of care, just broke my heart for him. The ruber chicken comments made me laugh, though. I've been to enough dinners where rubber chicken was served to truly appreciate that part. All of your characters are impeccable. This truly feels like a part of the story that was simply missing from the book. Well done, hon. You still have the gift. It's just a fickle talent, coming and going as it pleases. Be patient, look what you create when it's flowing! And when it isn't, look me up. We'll get back to our 'exercises'. Beautiful work. |
 firefly5151 2009-03-25 . chapter 1Good job. That was cute! |

grugster 2009-03-25 . chapter 1As I already told you on livejournal, I really love this story. It was both very funny (at the first part) and heartbreaking (in the last part). Thank you for writing it! Oh and thanks for the very clear author note about the challenge. :) |
