I have just recently reviewed the first three seasons of Moonlighting...dag...I forgot how great the series was! I, too, DO NOT wish to venture into Seasons 4 & 5...I recall them being gosh awful!!

I don't think David would go that far near the end of your tale...BUT from the beginning of your story up to the final scene between Maddie & David was very cool! I was hanging on every word!!

Aww! I love stories where David and Maddie get their "happily ever after". This one was great - I loved the twist :) And believe me, you're not missing anything by not seeing seasons 4 and 5 - they sucked monkey balls. Especially Maddie losing their baby - that damn near killed me.

Ok, you got me! That is quite creative...my heart is actually pounding from the climax. You are not a wimp yet very brave for even thinking about suggesting David ceases to exist; fabulously done!

WOW! What a great surprize to find another new ML fanfic! Welcome to the ML world of fanfic! I sure hope you will write some more. This story had me on the edge of my seat. So moving! You really have the characters down perfectly. AND you havvent even seen the whole series, i cant believe how you have picked up on the true hurt feelings of M/D and how badly we know they really love each and want to be together. And the little bit of sexiness to it was great also! SUPER!

You know, I've never so much as seen Moonlighting- I've just read your Indy fic, which is why I meandered over here- but this is fantastic. Gripping, entertaining stuff. Now I'll have to Netflix the series.

Great googly moogly! This is so well-written--WOW. I have to tell you, some of your turns of phrase turned me absolutely green with envy...you've got some terrific imagery going here (I especially liked the line about Maddie's heart running away with her ribcage, and the bit about signing the postcard).

I'm not sure that David would ever actually fake his own death to test Maddie's feelings...it may be crossing the line, even for him. However, the scene in the bar is bang-on, and it's surprising to me that you haven't watched the fifth season; you have captured all the bitterness and sense of loss that, regrettably, pervade that season. The happy-ending twist is a welcome relief, I can tell you!
