Great plot throughout, and good managing of it. The epilogue was surprising, but I like it. I didn't expect you to bring in movie!Al and trans!Ren. It adds an interesting element of closure to the story though. A sort of theme of "life goes on, and it changes, but it also stays the same." Keep writing!
