This happened recently to me when i was reading a COTT story about a boy who's just been told his father's died, and i had to try really hard to stop myself from laughing.

There's actually a world in the DC Multiverse where this wonderful story could fit. Earth-11, an Earth where the heroes are gender reversed. Superwoman is Laurel Kent, Batwoman is Helena Wayne, and Wonder Man is Dane.
