Very subdued, melancholy little piece here. Nicely written, if a bit on the negative side for my tastes.

I've never really thought of this pairing before but you write it beautifully and have it make *sense.* Terrific job!

Very very well done. Short. Sweet. Complete. It gives enough detail of events to let you know what is happening, but leaves enough out to let your mind wonder what could be hidden in the blanks.

I love how you characterize Jin: her practical nature, her passion, how she accepts who Zuko is yet knows that she should feel guilty, her thirst for something unusual despite the fact that she should aim for "safe".

And Zuko telling her that he is Li now said more than a paragraph of inner thoughts and explanations.

Oh God I just... this was so sweet and so romantic, and MAN I love how you write Jin. Gah. Now this is a pairing I can get behind! I think I love the 'Burning' part the most where Jin is accepting what Zuko is and Zuko... he seems to want to be the man that would be good for her. this was so nice.
