since you have been writing for this site for over ten years! and readed so much. i'll make this quick. what i like most about this story is it introduces the theory that articuno is actually a rare and powerful bird pokemon rather then a legendary pokemon. theres other stuff i like about the fic, like it has a interesting concept of a life of a traded pokemon. anyways, hope this review was original.

Um, sorry if this sounds offensive, but this along with your notes at the ends of your "Not You" series got me thinking; if pokemon can't like you, doesn't that mean they can't hate you either? If that's the case, then every pokemon would be like Articuno here: not caring how their trainers treat them, whether it's 'friendship' or 'abuse.'

I'm not trying to dis your writing style. I understand that nothing is always cheery and happy (and I like your stories), but I figured I'd point this out before someone used it as a snide comment.

This is not how people who actually like their Pokemon think. I don't think you have the right attitude about it. I've never traded my Pokemon so I could get a better one, I traded when I felt I couldn't give them what they needed to do good. I've had a Caterpie sense the first time I ever played, and I've never traded her. She's level 100 and is fully evolved now.

People, just because something sounds deep, doesn't mean it's true.

is the pokemon articuno cause it seems that way to me at the end whole time ive been seeing this pokemon as a pikachu.i liked this story alot!you should write more!

Ok, just one question...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD TRADE A FUCKING ARTICUNO! Honestly, while I was reading this I was expecting something relatively small or weak like a Butterfree or something like that. But an articuno? Get real. But I still think that this is good, especially if the pokemon was a legendary one.

Very interesting perspective. For those who read reviews before reading the story, this is thought-provoking without being over-complicated; and worth reading.

What do you mean 'So, what did you think?' Show me something that IS NOT good that you have written and put on ! But nevertheless, another very deep POV. I kept wondering which Pokemon it was and then, all of a sudden, it kind of hits you at the end (and that is a GOOD thing).

Great, as always. And I don't exactly think the Pokemon world is happy, either. A few things perhaps may be, but most are not. I mean, look at how some of the trainers even on that pathetic show treat *their* Pokemon. And the REAL Team Rocket, the ones who are actually very evil, treat them far worse. I hate Ash. You can tell the only Pokemon he ever seemed to care about was his stupid Pikachu, and he didn't even care for Pikachu that much...
