Wow, the picture! I figured that there was a reason for it, but I just left it at that.
And again, LOVE the writing. Hopefully everything will be okay soon.

The plot thickens! Love it!
I'm excited to see what happens next.

I guess for me, this just has way to much of the OCs and way too little Bonanza. And all the descriptions of Melanie's beauty, over and over, just get a little ponderous and weight the story down.

"The world was fuzzy as she awoke. Her head still hurt. She lay on the couch with four sets of eyes watching her. She blinked as the faces soon came into focus. They were watching her as she slowly lifted her hand to the cut above her eye which was now turning an even deeper shade of purple and black."

The mental picture that gave me made me laugh so hard. Keep it up, Lorine!

I have a feeling that Nicholas St. Clair is more than who he says he is. But I could be wrong; I usually am.
And I still don't like Claude. He definitely has some not so good intentions.
Hopefully we'll find out what he's up to soon.

I have been keeping up with your story, and get so excited when you post another chapter.
I love the story, and am following Melanie, BUT she needs to open her eyes, because she Is going to the dance WITH Adam.
THOUGH, Nicholas might excite her MORE than Adam. I don't know, but I do know I LOVE the story.

Another perfect chapter.
You can really feel Melanie's emotions and with her background, she's had a hard time growing up.
I'm sure being near the Cartwrights will help her move on but certainly not forget. And hopefully, Ben could be like a second father towards her.

This is a great story so far! You've written the Cartwrights very well, I especially like Hoss teasing Hop Sing. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

I've got to say that this is very well written. I just came across this story and I'm very glad to say that I did. I'll definitly be adding this to my favorites and be waiting for the next update. ;)
