This is a delicate and beautiful story. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first read it since you said you were writing Sawamura x Amanae and didn't reveal much more than that. But it's really sad and aching in so many ways.

However, I did giggle at this:

"(And also because, well. She had nunchucks.)"

I love the alternative approaches - the "In another life" because there really are so many options and you covered things I wouldn't have ever thought about if I had thought about alternative lives at all. (Which I hadn't.)

I think I do see where you come from when you say some of it wasn't as smooth as you liked, but overall it was still well-written.

I think my heart ached a little more at the other life where he runs off with his love - that ended so sadly. :( I ached again at the part involving the woman that kidnapped him. I still wonder what the full situation of that was - I wonder if they'll ever tell us in Spiral, but knowing Spiral, they'll leave that one wide open.
