I'd like to congratulate you on writing one of the few fics I have encountered on this site that has succeeded in keeping Seto Kaiba completely in character. this is a beautiful snippet of something I'd like to think would actually happen to him in his life, and I can't think of a better way to write it than you did. keep it up, I hope to see more from you!

wow, you really got kaiba well. his anaylitical side keeps overcoming his emotional side, and you left enough peeks that it was believable, but i don't see kaiba being that cold towards his daughter.

but that's just me. ^-^

I don't mind rambling at all, especially when it's interesting and elegant. The way you write is very straight and formal, which seems appropriate in Kaiba's case--you do a good job of capturing the logic and completedness of his thoughts, even when dealing with emotional or outrageous subjects. But all the same, it might have been interesting to delve more into his emotions than staying solely with the cerebral, but it's great either way!

This was very good. I liked it a lot. The thought of Seto Kaiba being a daddy gives me warm fuzzies. And the idea of mysterious mother is a nice touch. As for the muse thing I can relate. Mine had me write a fic last week about Kaiba being abducted by aliens dropped off in the middle of nowhere and having a week old beard and mustache stubble with him freaking out in the process. At least your muse seems to be kinder to Seto Kaiba than mine lately. XD
