Not boring, but it feels like it needs more background detail - a lot more. For example, how did Qui-Gon surive Darth Maul? Did he train Anakin? What happened to Obi-Wan?

...Wow. I can't begin to tell you how impressed with this I am, or how sad I will be if it is not continued!

Not only do you have a really intriguing AU set up here, but you've written it beautifully. Qui-gon is wonderfully portrayed - and I love how you are using his return to Coruscant to reveal what has happened in this alternate past. I can't wait to see this universe unfold, so consider me a loyal reader! :)
