This is very in character for Frank and Margaret; life would be eaiser without Hawk but no fun. As for him being missing in action, interesting.

This is shaping up to be very interesting, always awesome when someone takes time to create original characters.

I found this story after I happened upon POW and went through it in one sitting. Man, was Frank ever terrible in this story, and I'm surprised charges weren't brought up, for deliberately neglecting a patient as a way of squaring a personal vindetta is criminal! I sure am glad Hawkeye was all right in the end and that he and Belle are forming a close friendship. Excellent story, and I can't wait to read more of POW!

Loved this chapter and the way Belle stood up to Margaret. You did the right thing in having Margaret apologize as well because however much she disliked Hawkeye's attitude she would not have condoned anything as bad as Frank's actions.
I especially loved the ending where Belle and Hawkeye were lying under the stars.

I don't mind you using the idea of thanking reviewers by name. I got the idea from other stories too(no clue which ones though)

I loved it. Especially how you didn't let on until a couple chapters later that the "disinfectant" was distilled water. And Frank's splinter excuse was perfectly in-character... "I don't know where that wood's been!" Also, I liked how Margaret didn't know about Frank's sabotaging until the end, because they're usually 'in cahoots' with each other.
Though, whilst the story was lovely, maybe add a little more detail?
Oh, please write another story soon... I really like Belle Winifred.

I'm sorry to see this story end. It was nice to see Henry back even though he was a little clueless as usual. Glad to see that Belle spoke up and Margaret did the write thing. Can't wait for the sequel. Nice work. :)

Margaret would be so ticked off if she read those letters! Belle and Trapper were smart to use those as ammo. Hope Hawkeye gets to feeling better soon. With those two teaming up against Frank he should be. Love your story. :)

Frank is working overtime at being a menace. Hope Belle can come up with something to counteract his plans.
