Good chapter, if a little bit short, but the french... ah, the french. If she's asking for coffee then it should be 'je voudrais un cafe, s'il vous plait?' or 'Est-ce que je peux avoir un cafe s'il vous plait?' Because 'Puis-je' doesn't make sense and you can't have je and avoir next to each other- not only do you have two vowels, so it should be j'avoir, but that doesn't even make any sense. Sorry, but it bugs me. Did you use an online translator? But other than that, the plot is good, if a little rushed.

I normally don't like these "OC meets main character and whimsingly falls in love with him" stories, but you've kept me thoroughly entertained thus far. You should be mindful of sentences that lack detail, you summed up this girl (Penelope's) life in sentences, there were certain parts that could have been more fleshed out.

And I just don't prefer the narration though, I've always found the first person retelling to be a bit...off. Nonetheless, nice story.
