Very good story. I love the last line.
You really captured Itachi's thoughts and personality well. Amazingly so. Naruto too. It puts into even better perspective how well Itachi and Naruto relate -the best of all the characters -because it was unfair the most to them. They had the hugest burdens placed on them. You did an excellent job conveying that. Kudos on an awesome story!

Your story made me think once more how awful it is for children to learn to fight and kill. It means indeed giving away ones soul, otherwise they none of them would be able to live with themselves.
