I don't think I've seen any No. 1 Ladie's Detective Agency fanfic before, let alone a crossover. That was really good, I'm not sure it needs expanding though, it's excellent as it is.

Wow! My two favourite things! Now you just need to add Sarah Jane adventures, Ashes to Ashes and Harry Potter and it would be me absolute favourite! Only I think that would be quite a crowded story...
You really kept everyone in character, and you caught the way they speak in No.1 Ladies Detective Agency. It's so much simpler than the way we phrase things. Oh, and I never knew how to pronounce ko ko. But now I do!! And I think the Doctor would learn as much Botswana as he could. I love this story. Please expand the fic into a proper adventure! I would love to see the Doctor going to Mma Ramotswe to get help with something. It would be hilarious. And I'd laugh if Mma Makutsi got a crush on the Doctor!! PLease write one, just for me!! This is a very long review, sorry about that. 100/10!

I loved this story-I hope you are able to continue! I think you've captured McCall's writing style rather well. And the Doctor fits right in, as he does practically anywhere and anywhen, LOL
I agree the Doctor would undoubtedly love Botswana-although Ten is so hyper, that doesn't keep him from appreciating places that are more peaceful. Also, he would love the way people are brought up to be considerate and respectful and do things for each other, and the way they love their country, both in the sense of a nation and the landscape. Great job! :D

What a wonderful story!! I could just imagine the Doctor doing something like that!! I’ve read some of the Ladies books and am enjoying the new series on Sunday nights, now of course, I’ll be looking to see if the Doctor had lent Mr J.L.B. Matekoni his sonic screwdriver!!

One good thing about Doctor Who is that you can cross it over with almost anything. While I've only watched the TV series, this fits the atmosphere of the show wonderfully and made for an excellent read.
