Brilliant writing Adia, glad you have started again. I have missed this story :)

Doing it, doing it! Stressy moo :P I know I was meant to be reviewing like ages ago but i'm a mixture between really lazy and really busy lol.

Anyway I was proper happy to see this updated, and even though I was worried i'd have a hard time getting back into it, that totally wasn't the case, it was the same brilliant quality and totally eased me back. I love the image of Roxy and Danielle just slobbing about and spending time together, Roxy finally managing to drop all the panicking crap and just enjoy getting to know Danielle. Oh Roxy smut how i've missed you, perfect and had me laughing, especially her stuffing her mouth whilst she was doing it, I bet our Roxy could show anyone a thing or two lol

Danielle and Amy was totally cute, Roxy understanding why Danielle had always been so persistant in seeing Amy and forming a bond with her now that they know they're family. I like Roxy analysing everything, fitting things together and causing Danielle to think properly about what it means to be part of a family, be part of something that she's been the outsider to for so long.

Loved Ronnie, how she couldn't even get on with all the stuff that was normally so natural, because all she can do is think about her daughter, think about what she wants to do, what she wants to say, just all the moments that she's missed out that she'll finally be able to enjoy. Loved the line about finally feeling complete, the broken pieces of Ronnie put together again by Danielle.

Jack the **, aww you just couldn't resist :P he is just completely oblivious to everything, so utterly self centered that he can't possibly understand what Ronnie going through. Glad that Ronnie gave as good back though, proving that nothing matters as much to her as Danielle, not taking any ** from Jack.

Really loved this, glad its back, glad that its still the same amazing quality as ever :D (forgive me for taking forever to review now? *flutters eyelashes*)

Aw its like its never been away, I love this fic! Was really sweet with Roxy and Danielle and I hope they get closer. Will be interesting to see how ronnie reacts to this.

I`ve just read your message. And it`s funny cause I was just going to review chapter 74. And what do you mean by your question "Am I going to continue reading it?" Of course I am.
I noticed the update only yesterday and I spanked myself for thinking that you gave up on that story. And I just realized how weird that last sentence must sound.
Anyway, chapter 74.
You can always count on Roxy`s lack of manners and tact. But maybe that`s one of the reasons we love her. I really liked the way you kept Danielle`s shy and innocent nature in her interaction with Roxy. The question about Danielle`s feelings about having a new family just showed how things sort of happen for her, completely accidently. I mean she had so many plans and nothing went the way she wanted it. She missed so many things (she didn`t consider so many things) and misjudged so many situations (like assuming that Ronnie was laughing at her) and conversation with Roxy seems to be reminding her about that. It should be easier when the truth is out. The burden of keeping her secret may be finished but everything has just actually started. And I am really excited to see how you`re going to build Ronnie-Danielle relationship. Also I really like the fact you`re not rushing with that relationship cause I think it`s just the way it would have happened with R&D (if they were given a chance).
Ronnie and Jack? I mean the way you wrote Jack was just brilliant. When I was reading the conversation between him and Ronnie it took me back to two scenes from the EE. One of them was just after Ronnie finding Danielle in her flat and when they went to the R&R next day. Jack was the one who did a horrible thing but still couldn`t admit it and then his comment that “bitter doesn`t suit Ronnie”, what the hell did he expect? And the other one when he came to the Vic and told Ronnie that after she gets over Danielle they should get back together, but he never did anything to help her get over. And this conversation just shows what he`s really about. This constant need the be the number one and being helpful when he can because it makes him feel good, and being a real pain when he can`t help. Just like now Ronnie has Danielle, she doesn`t need him and it`s making him jealous and angry. I know that you don`t like Jack, but I`m really happy to see that the way you`re writing Jack is not a result of your dislike towards him but you just show him the way he is, it`s professional. I mean there are so many fics in here about Ronnie and Jack written by Rack fans, and they are so sweet and romantic, but it`s like completely different EE, they are so out of character.
Anyway, I`m really happy your back and looking forward to your next updates. I`m sure you will get your mojo back. I myself put quite a lot of effort in the chapter 22 and now waiting for some inspiration, I guess.

Go Ronnie! :P Jack's just jealous that he isn't getting Ronnie's attention ha! and you can see Danielle's nervousness around Roxy. Ronnie should just go home and be with her daughter. This fic is back ! Broken is back ! Can it really get any better. Its been so long since you've updated. I truly missed this fic so much. It was the next best thing to having Dan on our screens !

Even though there was no R & D in this chapter (I know we can't have it all the time) it was still such a strong chapter as you allowed us to see that Dan's nervous disposition isn't only brought to the fore around Ronnie. She did that nervy diversion of eyes thing around Roxy also as she felt she was being put on the spot and that her answers might not be what Roxy wanted to here and hence she would upset her. That was so true to Dan's character...she always worried about how every little comment or gesture might upset others. And good stuff out of Roxy too getting Dan back out there although I suspect it may be too much too soon depending on who they mighg bump into.

And then to Ronnie - I just want to give her such a big hug. She has what she wanted (in this fic anyway) - her baby ! and she wastes no time in cutting Jack (the cad) Branning down to size. And finally (LOL) confirmation that R & R snuck a few sneeky pictures of Dan !

Hope we get to see some R & D interaction soon as its been so long :-) and it will be fun to see Ronnie trying to decide what take out to order...me thinks it will be something like " Can I have one of everything on the menu please ?"


Welcome back Adia and a very very Happy New Year to you as this surprise update is a lovely start to mine. Hoping there will be many more to come.

YAY! :D this fic is back! I can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to this update!

Lots of nice little touches in this chapter, with Ronnie being so happy that she's got Danielle in her life, at long last and the cute little moments between Danielle and Amy. Jack is just being selfish, he hates it that he doesn't really matter to Ronnie anymore, that she doesn't need him.
I'm so glad that this is back up and just as fabulous as ever ;)

Good God, its finally here!

Right from the off you start the chapter by somehow putting a spark back into Ronnie. The first sentence does this impeccably, and i can envisage everything. I love how you wrote her so conflicted to do her duty, yet be so desperate to go home. Even managing to have her perform something so simple as look in her phone book and be so overjoyed to see that person there and no who she was, and what that meant to her. It's the simple things adia, and that is what makes your stories so perfect.

I am so wary of Roxy, i love her character, but im scared of her rocking the boat here. Obviously there are many things that both danielle and ronnie need to address and they are taking their own sweet time with this, but to me roxy is such an impatient soul, she needs to know now, and she needs to know everything which is why i think she asks so many questions and puts danielle on the squirmy spot. I really look forward to seeing if she does rock this boat, she is conflicted that much is true, however she may give danielle what she needs and that maybe some slight corruption as you said in the story.

Words fail me for the last part of this story. I honestly thought it was masterful. I say this so many times i feel like im waring out the sentence, but i can see these words being said, i can see jack standing in exactly the way you described him to be standing and i can picture the fury on Ronnie's face. But its not just that, its the way you know that if this storyline had of gone down this route on tv, you know that they would have argued over this. Most authors on here like to throw their characters into accident after accident, but instead you have something so simple, yet so completely human. They are arguing over a club, yet totally about themselves as well, its ok for jack to have everything but once Ronnie finds something that she wants, then Jack isnt happy. That's what makes you a class above everyone else. Simple things, yet so effective. The last paragraph as well, my god, it brings a tear to my eye (lol) you have made these characters into your own, without taking out any of the fine ingredients that made us love them, well done for a fantastic chapter.

Like i said before, Ronnie is back, just how i like her.
And so are you it seems, i apologize for my constant chagrin, however when i read this story, i know why i carry on at you so much. Cheers adia ;-)

Thanks you so much for continuing, this is my favourite Ronnie and Danielle fanfic. Its nice escaping from whats happenig in Eastenders to fanfic world. I really like the chapter, it's nice seeing the bonding between Roxy and Danielle, hopefully Roxy wises up to her dad but Archie is a bast**d but his damn good at manipulating people. Hope to see more mother and daughter bonding.

God I dislike Jack, can't stand him in the show, he seems so arrogant, and Jack is the jealous type, won't wanna see anyone close to Ronnie even if it's her daughter.

Looking forward seeing how you incoperate in EE storyline in the fic, like Archie death, but its good to see you back writing, also are you going to update any other stories such as 'Damaged'.

Also curious how do you feel when you see Ronnie on screen? I miss the old bubly Ronnie before Archie came on the scene and Danielle death, she seems like a woman on hinged, her 2 child dead and shes got no one even if it seems Jack wants to be with her, however it seems Ronnie can't move on. Now shes on this crazy quest to find her dads killer.

Anyway can't wait for the next chapter.
