I just read the first chapter and then the last chapter. Something I never do, but I just had to make sure that this was not an Angela/Brian story. And not because I am some crazed Angela/Jordan fan girl, which I guess at times I am, but more in that I wasn't in the mood to read about Angela choosing Brian. I cannot imagine it would have happened like that, and I wanted to read something that understood the complexity of the heart at that age. And just from the comments and from the first and last chapters I am getting that you are giving us that and much more. I love your writing style and the pacing (reminds me so much of the show), thoughts are not always fluid, people don't make perfect speeches in real life situations. We pause, we don't finish our thoughts, we say the wrong things. I can clearly see you get that and I am excited now to go back and read all the rest. I know you are going to take loving care with these characters, and it is going to be a pleasure to read. This final chapter serves as a wonderful ending...giving just enough to inspire the rest of us to write our own stories. The mark of a good writer...

You really have a way with words. I am bawling my eyes off. You make me care about Angela and Jordan, in your story that makes me wanna hug them and protect them from the evils of the world. I felt for Brian too. He deserve someone who can love him the same way he
love Angela. He's a descent guy. :-(

Well I'm sad to see this one end, but I have to say that if you're really sure that's what you want to do this is definetly the high note you'd want to go out on. I really loved Angela's thoughts at the begining about Jordan's coat, they were really beautiful. Any chance we'll see more of you in the future?

I love Brian-focused chapters. There's so much material in his perspective on life. I really like this line, "Do you ever get the feeling you shouldn’t be witnessing something?" I don't know why, I just do. You've got to update soon and let us know what it is the Brian gave her.

This story is the closest to how I imagine Jordan's feelings. It's beautiful that you kept his true flaws where other authors have him shouting his love from the rooftops and calling Angela "babe". That being said-- if I can't know what is on that note soon I will literally put a gun in my mouth.

God I hope it's something beautiful and awkward and heartbreaking and terrible all at once. That's what MSCL is about... its just so Angela- you don't need to be perfect, just REAL.

I want so much for them to be together, and I know that's how everyone else feels too... but I love the depth of this story because 99.9 percent of people don't have a fairytale, they hit a roadblock and they settle, they marry their best friend and wonder about the one that got away. I don't want Angela to be someone who is ordinary, but that's the way real life is sometimes. I just really hope that there is a way for those two crazy kids to make it.

I'm just really confused as to where all of this is headed. I feel like this just keeps going back and forth but there's no new information to fuel the back and forth. There's all these unresolved issues that are just being left unresolved. I'm a fan of the story but I have to say that I don't know how much longer I can hang on for this one if we don't start going somewhere soon.

oh, no! how will I survive 'til your next update to find out what is on the paper?!? I'm really enjoying this fic, though I keep hoping Brian will just get over Angela already...I still think Rayanne and him would be great together, she'd get him to loosen up a bit;)

Wow, you really have an amazing understanding of these characters. It's so nice to read a story that's not just goopy Jordan/Angela love, but rather one that shows the conflict that has to exist in their relationship because they are two very different people.

I liked the interactions between Angela and Patty, and Jordan and Rayanne. I'm not sure where you're headed or that I'm going to like how this turns out, but I'm loving the ride.

Another good chapter - I can so see Patty doing the angry folding. I think all of Angela's thoughts were very in character and the last few lines were fantastic. ~LJ~

The suspence of this story is killing me! One minute you have me thinking she's going to decide to give things a go with Brian and then the next minute she's on the verge of having an ** in English class just thinking about Jordan. I simply must know what the outcome of all this is going to be or I'll go crazy!

I'm really enjoying this story, it's very true to the characters. I just finished watching the series(for the umpteenth time)and I can really see and hear each person so clearly from your writing. Now, I'm still desperately hoping that Angela doesn't get involved with Brian, that would be so wrong, and somehow sort of...disturbing. I always thought Brian and Rayanne would be great together:)

This chapter makes my heart ache for Brian, who always gets the crap end of the stick. Of course, just as the writers did in the show, by the end of it, I wanted to strangle him for what he said about everyone knowing she had sex with Jordan. It was such a Brian thing to do. LOL And at the same time, you feel for him because only someone desperately in love with you could look at you and see that change. I'm interested to see where it's all going and while I am a diehard A/J fan, it would be great if someone could write a plausible and realistic Angela/Brian pairing. One that has the relationship evolve and not just instaneously happen because Jordan turned out to be a bad boyfriend. Whatever direction this takes, I trust that your skill as a writer will make it work.
