Amiko-san 2009-07-09 . chapter 1Oh wow that was interesting and very well written. I never liked Marron and Krillin ending up with 18 fit so much better. I would never have thought of something like this occuring but my, oh, my it played out perfectly. I adore how you always portrey Piccolo perfectly. |
Esplandian 2009-06-10 . chapter 1It is the second time I read this one. I am so glad of reading it, since I got to read more of your beautiful work. You are a magnificent writer.
Hope you don't come and hunt me for the rest of the eternity (even if I do deserve) for what I am going to write: I translated "Home" and published in Spanish (As a translation of mine, with all the proper credit given to you.) So sorry for not asking your permission before. I just couldn't let that story unknown to Spanish speaking readers.
All the proper credit is given to you, I am just a translator.
My sincere apologies, and all my admiration for you.

AAA 2009-05-24 . chapter 1 On a scale of 1 to 10, this story ranks somewhere around 15 or 16.
I've always been a big devotee to the fics that develop the characters' unspoken relationships with each other, and your story delivers on so many levels. I could easily see it as a scene in an episode (if they ever decided to get as introspective as this).
I have to admit, by the end of the story, I was feeling just about as good as Krillen; big, stupid smile and all. Thank you so much for writing this! It's perfect. It is the perfect DBZ fanfic. |
 Sambev 2009-05-21 . chapter 1Nice, I liked it a lot. Krillin was really in character. :D |
Raptured Night 2009-04-29 . chapter 1There really are not enough good quality Piccolo/friendship based stories out there. And most certainly, there are very few that center around the Piccolo/Krillin friendship. Personally, I always wanted to see their relationship explored a bit more. Watching the Garlic Junior Saga, it's obvious --at least to me-- that they ARE more than just connected by common ground as warriors. Even if not ever openly stated, I do feel that they have their own unique kind of friendship.
A friendship I felt you managed to capture PERFECTLY with this beautifully written bit of fan-fiction. The characterization, the diologue, the description, the GRAMMAR AND SPELLING, all excellently accomplished. All I can say, is incredibly well done job. This is one that will make my favorites list. Thank you for this little gem.
Sincerely Yours,
~Raptured Night |
 Rebecky-mo 2009-04-26 . chapter 1YAY, Piccolo and Krillin friendship story! |
Rami-Rami 2009-04-23 . chapter 1The clash between Krillin's comic personality and Piccolo's stoic attitude was awesomely written here. (Even if I like to pretend that saga never happened, eheh) This brought a smile to my face. :D |
 Mushy 2009-04-02 . chapter 1 Aww cute fic! |
smokescreen 2009-04-02 . chapter 1I really really love this Ash, it's subtle without losing any of the emotion involved. It's very easy for a story like this to turn to smulch, which you have side stepped beautifully.
You have captured Krillen and Piccolo brilliantly and I can't think of anything tha could improve or enhance the story in anyway, a very good job!
This is Vic by the way, had this screen name before Bikushi was around ^^; |
chikyu 2009-04-01 . chapter 1 Another masterpeice! I'm glade you did this one, Krillen-Piccolo friendship peices are rare and ones like this that really examine their interactions are pure jems! There are far too many great quotes to reference from this, but I love how Krillen almost seems to be the substitute sayain for Piccolo (who knows ALL) and Picolo for Krillen for when the real deals arn't around. Keep up the Quality!! |
Chaotic_Souls 2009-03-31 . chapter 1 ...Ye God. I need to log-in more often. I don't post as much as I used to, though I still read.
I have to admit, this thing had me grinning like an idiot as it came down to the last bit of it. I loved the awkward interaction between the two, and the odd, silent coming to terms.
What I loved most was Krillen's nervous prattlings and Piccolo's hesitant speech patterns. You managed to capture that pretty realisticially. After all, how many people besides Goku and Gohan are going to be relaxed around a former demon?
Plus, Piccolo's got to get his snide sense of humor in there somewhere, so where more than to slide it in between balanced compliments.
Not to mention, Piccolo admitted he was wrong on something, a rare thing for him to do. You managed to keep it all very in character. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, it was a real damned treat to read. :) |
Satu-D-2 2009-03-31 . chapter 1I likes it. ^^ I mean, the image of Piccolo doing something like that is hilarious XD And it was really very sweet. Well done, you've captured the characters of both of them perfectly. :D |
 Shadir 2009-03-31 . chapter 1Very good! |
Kittioto 2009-03-31 . chapter 1That was adorable. :) I love stories that keep Piccolo in proper perspective but also show his softer side. This was great! |
The Bebop Nameck 2009-03-31 . chapter 1This is absolutely fantistic! It was a pleasure to read first thing this morning. I'm in love the little exchanges between Pic and Krillen. I'll tell ya more about what I loved later- it's always a pleasure to read your writing. ^_^ |
