I can't believe I could have finished this book almost two years ago and still cry like this for a story about Fred, but wow. I don't know how you do it, but you bring every ounce of emotion right out of these characters and right out of me. The only thing I miss is more of Bill's reaction... I hope someone caught him, too. =( Wow. This was amazing.

You did an amazing job with this. Even knowing what the outcome was, you still made me cry. You were very realistic with her reactions to everything going on. Wonderful job.

this is really, really well done... I love her thoughts at the beginning, it's good to see that kind of honesty, even if it's only with herself. But that loss of innocence (or however much she had left)... And the moment of realization for both of them is really moving. I'd be interested to read your interpretation of this moment for the rest of the family if inspiration strikes. Lovely job!

i'm crying i love stories like this because they are full of emotion but i can't read many at once becuase just hearing fred dying again and again
