 vampyfreak 2009-10-28 . chapter 8Awesome fic! |
charis-kalos 2009-05-26 . chapter 8"When you put your mind to something, you’re unstoppable. So I’ve been sitting here wondering why you can never do it in training. Why you’re never this good on the hunt." Ouch! John's absolutely right - but would he really have wanted a Sam with his mind absolutely committed to the hunt? We've seen that and it's not pretty.
I loved this ending. I'm so GLAD that wee Dean found out that he was missed, that the town did care for him. And I'm glad Sam and Dean were "Jerk"-"Bitch"-ing each other by the end. It makes me feel better about Sam. But you've definitely got the John-Sam tension here, and so I'm feeling anticipatory 'Sam goes to Stanford leaving Dean' pain. |
K-Marie-M 2009-05-17 . chapter 8That was realy cute. I love both of these shows and that was perfect. Actually when Dean, of G.G., was being a jerk that's when Supernatural started and I couldn't watch it because Dean was on it. But, now I love them both equally! |
carocali 2009-05-14 . chapter 8Well, that's a lot of dialogue! I didn't know they were each called Lorelei either. Yikes! When Rory stumbled into Sam's room, I felt the crazy factor rise. Eek! I bet the Winchesters can't get out of Stars Hollow fast enough. Gives new insight to 'Hollywood Babylon' when Sam freaked out on the trolley. :D
A very challenging piece, but I'm glad you enjoyed writing it! Even for those that have no clue about GG, I was able to follow along!

twinchaosblade 2009-05-13 . chapter 8Sque, that was such a fine and well-written story! I thoroughly enjoyed your narrating skills and passion for whump with the double Deans, double Loreleis and the one and only Sammy. LOL The last scene between the four of them was too precious. I had so hoped to let them finally meet. It would have been perfect if Sam and weeDean could have met for once as well because just as you observed, they never actually "met".
The story in general was incredibly suspenseful and the action never disappointed or got too confusing in terms of who was who. I deeply savoured getting all the persons to interact like that and still have the story make sense and provide some most awesome hurt/comfort for everybody.
Magnificent fic and very worth the read! |
fearlessgoddess2 2009-05-13 . chapter 8Awesome! Loved it! Such a great story! Loved the RoryLorelaiSamDean banter at the end! :) |
Madebyme 2009-05-13 . chapter 8What a wonderful ending for a wonderful story! I think you did a great job with this crossover, both of the shows are so different but you successfully intermingled them and the result was a great action story with just the right amount of light hearted humour.
Your portrayal of Dean F (poor Dean) really interested me, his character is really open for interpretation and I liked what you did with him and how you expressed some of his own self-esteem issues. I'm pleased that he learnt that he does have value and that people were looking for him and would miss him. I always get kind of sad when I read fics about him, I really think that the show could have made more of his character.
The conversation between Sam and John was sad to read but I guess I should have expected it! In my eyes you really nailed John here because he does care and worry about his boys - maybe too much - but he never expresses it in the right way when it comes to Sam.
You did a great job with Rory and Lorelai too, they spot on and so in character that it made me giggle! All in all this was a great fic and it made for a very enjoyable read so thank you so much for writing and sharing. Take care, Madebyme.x |
x.lizzy.x 2009-05-12 . chapter 8AH!! I love this story! Perfect ending! I'm sad to see it end though :( but I love it!
very nice job on the story! :D
I <3 Supernatural and Gilmore Girls crossovers..definitely one of the best :D good job! :D |
vonnie836 2009-05-12 . chapter 8So there is a happy ending for Dean F. as he finally realizes that he was missed and searched for. After all he's been through the poor kid definitely needed that.
Good ending for Dean W. too. He got his little brother back, they are leaving for another hunt and things are back in order.
Sam though, he expect being reprimanded but gets much more, his dad telling him he can't do most of is school things anymore. He longs for being normal, school gives him a little of that. Now it's going to be taken away.
Loved the two Lorelai, two Dean, one Sam. Great story. Hugs,

TraSan 2009-05-12 . chapter 8I really enjoyed this story!
But uh, you about killed me with this line:
>Still Sam and him, still brothers. When the rest of the world was crazy or in disarray, Dean could always trust in that.<
Sniffle inducing all things considered.
Great job, Faye. |
sayrae3times 2009-05-12 . chapter 8Such a wonderful ending! I had to read it in two parts because I started reading it last night when a huge spider crawled across the sofa I was laying on and of course I freaked and went flying across the room. My hubby saved the day, rescuing my laptop before it went sailing and slaying the viscous eight-legged freak. I read the rest this morning when hyperventilation was no longer an issue. (Can you tell I don't like spiders?) And I have to say, you did an excellent job making this chapter easy to read (not only for the spider-paranoid but) for those of us who have never seen Gilmore Girls. I had no trouble understanding the characters and rather enjoyed the two Lorelais. In fact, I’m glad you brought it up because I was just starting to wonder who the two Lorelais were. I really liked how, at some point or another in the story, both Sam and Dean F. felt that the other was lucky in some respect. And Dean going to see Dean F. was so very…well…Dean. Anyway, fantastic crossover! I’ll see you next time you post! |
 Hawk50 2009-05-11 . chapter 8Ah, Miss Faye --
You *always* do justice to Sam W/Dean F, and this story was no exception. Trying to keep up with two Lorelais, two Deans and a Sam was confusing at times, but you had their voices so well defined it was fairly easy to follow.
I always expected Sam to persevere, but it was a bit sad looking into *wee Dean's* head, especially knowing where his relationship with Rory was heading. Yes, I, too, rail against the absolute injustice done the boy. And he was certainly not equipped to deal with the physical damage done to him. I did think the most poignant part was when he expressed disbelief that anyone was looking for him -- the poor boy certainly had a low opinion of himself, but what do you expect with Richard and Emily Gilmore and Luke all bad-mouthing him at the least provication?
Thanks for sharing this. It was very enjoyable and a great read! |
CB Walters 2009-05-11 . chapter 8Gotta say, I love this story! You really did a great job with all of the characters, even though you were working with two (VERY) different fandoms. It had just the right amount of humor that you usually see with Gilmore Girls crossovers, but you went the extra mile by setting up an entertaining action story too. And I really loved that you gave all the characters their due, especially with Dean F. He really got the short straw on the show, if you ask me. He's an interesting guy, but he's always just the side character. I thought it was interesting that you explored the idea that he felt like a side character in his own life. I wish we got to see more of that in the canon. And you also did a great job with the Winchesters. I especially liked the interactions between John and Sam, the fact that John would be so absolutely terrified of losing his kid, and would do anything to get him back, but then just a few days later they're at it again. Very nicely done, very in-character. Over all, a fun read. Thanks for writing. :)

I'mcalledZorro 2009-05-11 . chapter 8Excellent crossover! You really had everybody's voice down pat! I enjoyed reading this story. Thanks for sharing! |
irishgirl9 2009-05-11 . chapter 8Wonderful ending! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. I liked that Rory got to meet Sam. It cute. It's kinda sad that even though Rory was so worried about Dean and everything, Dean still knows there's something there with Jess. Which is beyond me. Dean or Jess? No contest, it's Dean. I thought Dean might try to score himself some hot MILF action, but I think Lorelai might be a little too neurotice for him. Poor Sammy, all he wants is to be normal while all his dad wants him to be is a warrior. Again, wonderful job. This is the best SN/GG crossover I've read. |
