Wow! That was simply one breathtaking chapter! You described Auriel's thoughts and feelings so informatively, and in a way that makes the reader (s) really be able to relate to how he's feeling. Also, by the way you described Jiggywiggy, it's not hard to see where someone would find him handsome, even as early on as the first meeting. Well, all in all I think Jiggy chose the right disciple, for not only is Auriel's devotion and loyalty a given thing, but the way you described him compared to all the other initiates, he sounds like the most humble and least petty or selfish disciple a golden-headed priest could ask for.^^
