Really nice retelling of a tiny story. I liked how you threw in lines from Atonement out of their context but still making sense.

The last two chapters were well worth waiting for. Love how you dealt with the dark to light idea, comparing it with rich and poor - the whole thing works really well - come on lets have more stuff!

I think your version would be much better than Brioney's.
