You're story is so very funny ! I pictured Holmes and Lestrade in dress (Victorian dress besides !)... A very good story. And your characters "sound" true if you see my meaning : they behave like in the original story (sorry for any mistake English is not my native langage).

Do you think that one day you will write the entire story where the lord from Gloucestershire was flited with Holmes? I think it can be a great one.

I know I reviewed over at C&C but reading it here gives me a new pov to it. Barely a whiff of slash, and then only if you count crossdressing and acting.

. . . It just dawned on me: Watson never tells us about Lestrade's facial hair or lack thereof. For all we know he could have had a luxurious black beard down to his chest like Professor Challenger! (Although not likely; Watson probably would have commented on THAT.)

Fun with dialogue, hm? That was great. Holmes in a dress we're used to - disgiuse and all - but *Lestrade*?

Also, the argument was delightful. Cold hands, indeed!
