Oh this was beautiful! Both of them were perfectly in character, and the story was incredibly deep and rich with meaning. I've always wondered how Ichigo and Rukia would react to Kariya's words as well (I say 'always' since I watch both subs and dubs, so I saw the episode quite a while ago, even though I know the dubbed version was only just on tv last night).

Anyway, you've done an excellent job with describing the missing scene! Plus, I just can't resist good IchiRuki! Thanks for giving us readers such an enjoyable story!
