Not surprising.. Kenshin did have a thing for cleaning..XD

Hiko probably sent him there because the house was too clean.. Cute one-shot.. :)

this is... sweet.

But not overdone. Great work.

Interesting. I've never imagined Kenshin as a janitor (great image, by the way), but now I'm comparing the janitor with the rurouni. Drama aside, I have to giggle at that.

This was beautiful! People aren't always what they seem at first glance and even though its easier to hastily analyze them and put them into boxes, life truly becomes beautiful only when you your fear go and try o do something for what you want. T least thats I understood. A very rare deep story. Thank you!

This was an awesome story. I particularly loved your portrayal of Kenshin and the depth you had gone to with his character - right down to his writing. Am now going to read Kaoru's Cake... heh

Cute set up and I loved it all the way to the skiing part. You really don't need to pour on Japanese words to get your point across (assuming you meant suki and daisuki instead of the winder sport.) Many fan fic writers use honorifics in Japanese because they don't feel they can get across the levels of formality in English -though they can if they write it well- and food names or distinctly Japanese items (like how would you describe a kotatsu in English?) but most things can be easily translated. Suki I like you, for example. Baka you idiot, for example.

Otherwise I loved the concept, especially how uncomfortable he was when Sano and Kaoru were trying to make him into a hero or a man of mystery and he knew his scar was from an ordinary childhood accident and that his job was as an ordinary cleaning man. Friend of mine once said she couldn't stand parties with her boyfriend because all his friends were in college and doing fabulous things with their lives. Everyone she was introduced to would ask "What do you do?" She couldn't look at them in the eyes and say "I work at the Gap." She was being silly, of course, because she was much, much more than that, but it was all she could see herself as when compared with them.

Fun story. People really will open up to each other after sharing just a few hours in a difficult/isolated situation.

AW! SO CUTE! I loved reading this, it was absolutely adorable. Well written too. You have a smooth progression for this one-shot. Great little plot. Everyone's personalities were memorable and crystal clear. They really caught my attention, and I loved the way your wrote each one!

Parts of this seemed a little unlikely...certain parts happened too fast, for instance. But overall, that doesn't really matter. It works for a one-shot!

Wonderful job!

This was a beautiful one-shot! The idea of Kenshin being a janitor was great! It really surprised me but positively because it made all so sweet! Great one-shot! Very well written!

taiski? I'm assuming that means something along the lines of "i like you" but that's the first time I've ever seen it in a fiction.

Funny little fiction- I liked Kenshin's conversation with the elevator man- yay for matienence people.

Cool! That was really unexpected... It's very interesting! Nice work! ;)

P.S. By the 'taiski' and 'ski', did you mean 'daisuki' and 'suki'?

Totally awesome. Some of your Japanese words are spelled incorrecly however- Even if its pronounced as ski- like is spelled suki as well as love is spelled daisuki. Very close though. Keep up the great work XDD
