I just finished rewatching 02 recently, and this is exactly the story I was looking for. You captured the children perfectly. I especially enjoyed Davis and Yolei's, they cracked me up.

This deserves far more reviews than 8!! Really really well written, and very deep and uncannily accurate insight on the chosen children. I especially like Davis and Yolei's. :) Great job!

That was beautifully crafted, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I remember one of the "46 laws of anime" I saw on someone's profile: Always send a boy to do a man's job; he'll get it done in half the time and twice the angst. And I think you portrayed that angst very well here.

Of the six, I personally enjoyed Kari's and Ken's the most. Probably because of the more vivid imagery you have in those chapters. And the comment about Poromon was a wonderful break from all the seriousness.

Great story.

The way you write it, the list from most sane to least sane (so far) among the main characters of 02 is: Yolei, Davis, Cody, TK/Kari tie. But, I am interested in the implication of Tai being a bit off in the head from the Davis chapter. Also, is any of the Digimon partners going to have their say?

Nicely done! Ha, I think it is a requirement that to be a Digidestined/ Chosen Child you need some kind of problem...maybe that's why Davis has always seemed so odd to me...he's so happy compared to everyone else.

You really seem to know the characters. And the writing is just plain superb! :) It's rare to find such powerful, meaningful writing in this fandom.

"...And things will work out in the end." Hee, this is what I always try to say too, you know? I can totally see Davis saying that phrase too. ^-^ I guess I'm the type of person who tries not to freak out so much too so I could sort of relate to Davis's chapter a bit. and I don't read drama/angst type fics as much anymore, you know, but I liked Davis's chapter! To me Davis does seem like the type of character who doesn't like to worry so much but in a way it's why the other characters like him =) (and you know, that's partly why he's my favorite too, haha?) nice chapter!

I remember not really liking Kari that much, but in season 2, she isn't really any different from the other kids. Both pieces were very contemplative and passive, not too long, and not too short. Liking the quotes at the start too, and hope you do more of these.
