This story is amazing, I honestly hope you continue to add to it. Please update!

PLEASE KEEP WRITING, I'D LOVE FOR ALLEN AND LAVI TO SOMEHOW GET TOGETHER...I hope you haven't stopped because honestly its so AMAZING! Any words in any language (and mind you English isn't my first language) could not describe the simple love and wonder of this story!

Oh! I really love this story. I've never seen The Lake House, but if its anything like this, I'm sure I'll like it, minus of course our favorite excorcists. I do hope you continue with this, I was pleasantly surprised to find this update.

i must admit, i don't read much d. gray man fanfiction. and, to be honest, i don't really even ship laviallen. but this story has stolen my heart! it's just so lovely. ;_;

your writing is sweet, simple, and serene. it's well-paced and the overall tone leaves me feeling quite at peace. it's the sort of loveliness that makes me sigh contentfully. wonderful job with that, sweets. x3

one thing that i would recommend is trying to use a bit more figurative language. with the right metaphor or similie, your words could be even more touching or leave even more of an impact. i don't know how closely this is based on the lake house because i have never seen the movie, but i would try to deviate from the original line of movie. you want to make the story your own, you know?

otherwise, you're doing quite well. i quite enjoyed the story so far. awesome job. :3

My heart tore. TORE. God. I know about the movie 'The Lake House', but I haven't watched it, and now you make me want to run to watch it so I can know if they have a happy ending. I so wish they have a happy ending. This is an amazing story, it reminds me of the premise of 'The Time Traveller's Wife' - a scenario which sounds impossible, but which worked and was made into a touching romance novel. Apparently all my friends who read it loved it, so that's another on the to-read/watch list.

Gah, rambling, rambling.

So could it be that the dog Lavi has now is the dog Allen has? Since I noticed in the first chapter, after the snow storm, it was written that "Timcanpy barked at him (Lavi) as if to say 'I told you so'." So...could Timcanpy be the way to which they can both meet each other? *excitedly throwing out the randomest of ideas*

I absolutely loved this part of the chapter:

"Okay. Well, let’s see. I’m a successful neurosurgeon in Chicago. I come from a rich family where both of my parents love each other and have never been unfaithful. I’m married to a beautiful woman and we have five children. But none of them look like me. Perhaps I should be worried.

If that’s so, then I’m a successful architect in Chicago. I also come from a rich family, where both of my parents loved me as much as they loved each other. We like to go fishing on the weekends and my mom makes a dinner every Sunday. I’m dating a hot Asian who goes both ways, so I’m used to having two women in my bed. It’s going great.

These are such lies.

These are such lies, you’re right."

It was funny, and very sad all at the same time. The way in which they both go "oh we have such beautiful lives" made me chuckle half in sadness. And when they both went "we have some normal ** life" it's like a point of bittersweet commiseration for them.

And the walk, gah, the walk. That's where my heart completely tore. Especially the graffiti-note that Lavi left for him to read, I can only imagine how Lavi himself must be reigning in his sorrow as he wrote it, just as Allen is trying to hold back tears. In a way they really are together, aren't they? Only physically they can't be. Gah, this is just too tragic.

And now, I can only beg for the next chapter. This story has captured my heart. Fantastic chapter, I really look forward to more!
