i'm not too sure i love this story, but it was very interesting to read. i liked how you worked in all the japanese words, but not in the idiotic fangirl way.
i did like the last line a lot, the contrast between the flowers and the fire was quite good.

Found this story after reading Champagne Dreams. Yes, the Japanese do have a beautiful view of death indeed, and you symbolized that well.

Mikoto, you poor soul, Again that was amazing, The poems or the Jisei were all so perfect for the storie, and gave it, for me anyway, a Melancholy feel.
The whole thing was very sad, and almost haunting, especially at the end with Sasuke.
I love how you force me to think, It makes reading that much more enjoyable.

And I agree with you the Japanese do have such a beautiful view of death.

It takes a lot for me to enjoy a fic that doesn't involve a romantic pairing, and yet this is truly beautiful. I loved it :)
