I'm so glad I finally read this; it's everything I could've hoped for and more.

I took a deep breath and pressed my free hand more firmly into the table, drawing an almost immediate glare from Esme as she saw my arm muscles tense. This table was handcrafted, Edward Anthony, she thought. Don't you dare.

Hands down, the best chapter yet. I never once thought about what the rest of the Cullens were feeling while Alice & Bella were in Italy, rescuing Edward. It never occurred to me that Jasper would probably leave if Alice didn't survive.

Oh, and Edward sulking because Carlisle told him he smells like nutmeg? Priceless! LOL

Hi, Just wanted to let you know I thought this story was absolutely wonderful. It was so perfectly fitted into canon but greatly improved on it as well. I rarely read a story where I know how it ends, but I tried this one based on a recommendation and am very glad I did...it made me chuckle in parts and brought tears to my eyes in others. It seems like you've put a ton of research and effort into this story and then taken all you learned and weaved it expertly. I always love when Bella takes charge of her own future, and the scene at the Cullen's makes me smile. Edward bargaining and proposing is pretty good, too. It's still vintage Edward, taking on the guilt of the world instead of believing in himself.

This really emotional chapter was a pretty gripping experience, and it gripped me right around the throat a couple times! I felt like I was right there with everyone and couldn't help a one! Thank God it all turned out okay, despite the rollercoaster ride.I wanted to hug Carlisle and Edward at once.

It's very interesting to hear all the thoughts and words of all the participants in this little nightmare. Always glad it turns out well, and they get to go home!

This is one of those times whenhaving perfect recall is no blessing. More like a curse, when you can picture every moment of your time with your child, fearing that child is dead. Like any parent, Carlisle is mourning, along with the rest of the family.
