OH I just loved this! Nice going on Dean's little flashbacks. Your descriptions are so easy to visualize, and this filled a few of the holes left over from the epi. I loved your comments about the clothes, "They were bright red stripes against his blue shirt, and if he'd ever needed proof that God had a sense of humor..." Made me giggle! And Dean calling Sam Mr. Sunshine? Had me rolling!

Loved your story. You used quotes from the different episodes in all the right places. Loved how Dean referred to their need to change out of their ugly ** clothes... surprised he didn't tell Sam he looked like Big Bird.

and of course my favorite was “And again I ask, what did you do?”

“I, uh, smashed the phone,” Sam said, giving a quick, sheepish grin. “With the poker from last night.”

Dean paused them both near the stairs, tugging at Sam's arm until Sam turned back towards him. “Dude,” Dean said, before he began to grin. “That's my boy.”

Sam rolled his eyes, a small grin on his face. “Figured you'd approve,” he said. “But, uh, security?”
