awe, slade died. i thought for sure red x was going to be the one who died. i wasn't expecting this ending, but i suppose it was the happiest ending for robin. poor kid.

HI! Liked it all, down to the last part, at least... you know I'm honest, right? And throwing in a baby...? First, the technology is alien, so I was all "that exists in this universe?!", and... you shouldn't use "test-tube baby" I feel, because that IS a real term, and somone who were conceived that way might get offended... I have no idea what term to use, but since it's science fiction, that might be open for discussion... ;o) the different colored eyes are also very unusual (unless it's fan-fiction... it's common here... ;o) But my MAIN point is: do they really need a baby? Do you feel they wouldn't be happy without one? Because that's why so many girls write m-preg,; they just can't picture a "happily ever after" without a baby, which makes me go "ARGH!" really loudly... because I DO like M-preg (sometimes) and I DO support male/male adoptions, but there has to be a good reason, and I didn't really see that here... have I missed that they discussed having a family in the beginning or something? In that case, I'm sorry... I just had to get it off my chest, because that whole part seemed just so... strange... like "forgiving" Bruce... Robin was involved in KILLING Bruce, so what does Bruce need to be forgiven for, really?
SOrry if you think I'm being too harsh, I didn't mean it in a bad way, it was just meant for you to reflect over the text... this story ending with "Red continued to hold him, not ever wanting to let him go again." was more than good enough, I feel... But I guess you are planning some sort of continuation, perhaps, involving the kid or something... We'll see... Since it will be SLade-less it might not be for me, but as I said... we'll see... ;o)

Okay, you have to tell me how you write fight-scenes... do you see them in your head first? Do you see someting in a movie or something and then think about how to describe it? Where do you get your inspiration? I need to be able to do at least SHORT scnes, but I just suck at describing movements and stuff... it frustrates me... ;o)
I DO think too dragged out fightscenes can be a bit boring, though... I just relaized something! I wrie fight-scnes mostly out of an emotional POV; what the person think/feels/reacts to/sees and you write them mostly from a pfysical POV; how the person moves... I'd like to learn to write a combination of those, I think... I mean, I'd LOVE to be able to describe a really good move, but I'm not interested in too much detail like "he took three steps to the left and two to the right"-kinda thing, so I would exchange them for emotions... hmm... I might get an opportunity to try in Black Sheep 2, because I probably can't end that without SOME kind of fight...? ;o)Or maybe I should just let them all become friends and go their seperate ways... I'd do that over having to write a fight-scene anyday! If I thought I could get away with it... ;o)
Ops, sorry, I've been babbling on about random ideas, sorry... I do that to get over that Slade is dead. Wow. Not often you get to read that. ANd Robin's "safe"... Robin startedacting all buddy-buddy with his friends. I would think he wouldn't chance so suddenly, and would keep to himself. Not that much have chanced anyways.

But I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, the stockholm syndrome and all... I want to see how it all ended up to be.

No! -cries over Slade's body- Is he dead? For real? Forever? -lip tremble- Robin doesn't seem too happy to be back to Red X, but maybe that's just because he's still too traumatized by everything that's ever happened to him in this series. I mean, I still am, so how can he not be?!

I just waited for Red to die for most of this chapter... no, not WAITED (like in hoped) but rather FEARED... I was so fucking tense my abs are actually hurting now! (Hey! Fan fiction can be used as work-out! Who knew?!) I have to check out what a kunai is, though... I know I have came across that word before, but now I have to check what it actually is... Slade is starting to regret some of the things he's done to Robin, huh? Talk about taking his time... It's so sad for him to realize that the old Robin's never gonna come back... At least not with his emotional scars.
