You don't often see fics about Tifa and Barret's relationship, but I've always thought they'd be close. This was really sad, esp the flashbacks to her father's death. I really liked that Cloud came to comfort her. Nice job. :)

wow! You don't get many fics that cover Barrett and Tifa's relationship. This was awesome and very origonal as well as very well written for such a short amount of space. Top job and yeah, that last line was absolutely perfect. Its true.

At first I thought you were going to kill Barret, and being the cry-baby that I am, I was about to CRY. But very nice and angsty. Cloud being there for Tifa was the icing on the cake of a nicely written short story. I hope your grandfather is doing okay. Write more soon!
