entertaining story :)

This was so cute(: I normally hate one-shots.

Cute idea. I don't think I've ever come across another fanfic that's ever used Hojo's family scroll as a plot device. Maybe most people assume there would be no point because Inuyasha would never find out, which he wouldn't have even in your story if it weren't for Kagome having that printed copy of the scroll. Good angle, since just because the original scroll got ruined at the end of that anime arc, it certainly doesn't mean it hadn't been photocopied beforehand. I love the whole idea of the miscommunication, and him hearing half of whispered conversations and misunderstanding because of his preexisting assumption because of finding that paper. Otherwise he would have wondered what was going on with Kagome, if he still managed to overhear a few things, but he wouldn't have necessarily taken it in that direction, and as somebody else pointed out, it was good for him to get a taste of his own medicine, because of the whole Kikyou business. In the meantime, I was trying to figure out what was *really* going on with Kagome, but I didn't guess bladder infection so good twist! I had started to think that she was perhaps physically uncomfortable and that was why she declined the back ride, but my mind had gone the tattoo route, LOL, that maybe she had gotten ink (or a piercing) and didn't think it was any of his business for him to know THAT and she didn't want to let him know until after it was healed. While I've seen both secret tattoos and secret piercings done before in other fanfics with similarly skittish Kagomes trying to keep the secret, that *is* rather unrealistic from an in-character perspective, and so I loved your idea much better. Much more REAL, and so utterly simple. And her reasoning for keeping it secret made perfect sense because he WOULD have probably freaked out, because something like that would be so much more serious in his time than hers with simple pills she can take to get better. How everything exploded at the end when he revealed his feelings and what he *thought* was going on was very nicely done, too. So good job all the way around. Loved it! :-)

Sooo funny! Inuyasha is like a grown man with the personality of a kid, but not in a freakish way, which is what I love about him :P You portrayed his character really well in this story. The story and the mystery of Kagome's secret just made it perfect. Loved it!

P.S. I would, and I'm sure many others would also, love it if you wrote a story about how interesting their arguments have become ;)

I just love the last image of Inuyasha kissing Kagome to prevent a sit command. I had never imagined it before, but I totally love it. Your fics always make me smile, and its always nice to have an opportunity to. They are really great.

I absolutely loved this. It was an endearing mixture of tender, hilarious, and intriguing. You kept me wondering just what was going on exactly until Kagome confessed. I didn't really think she'd ever leave Inuyasha for Hojo the oblivious, but thank you for sharing, and I greatly enjoyed what you had to say.
